West Virginia State Police are investigating a burglary. Troopers were called out to the Appalachian Rail Service location on Dolan Lane near Petersburg on Monday. The manager discovered the shop and storage building had been broken into sometime between late night Friday and early morning Monday. The suspects entered the buildings and took about 20 thousand dollars in welding and heavy metal working equipment. The stolen items were hauled away on the back of a trailer believed to be pulled by a truck or SUV.
