Two Allegany County Residents Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop in Garrett County

Two Allegany County residents face drug charges after a traffic stop in Garrett County. According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office on August 19th deputies were called out to Maryland Highway and Broadford Road for a report of people acting suspiciously in a vehicle. Deputies stopped the vehicle and following an investigation arrested 21 year old Asia Broadway IV from Cresaptown and 18 year old Avery Gilman from Cumberland. Both are charged with possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin along with several traffic violations. They are being held at the Garrett County Detention Center.
