The identity has been released of a 38 year-old female occupant of the January 15 , 2016 dwelling fire at 6918 Rock Lodge Road to be Sabreena Daneen Brennan. The fire originated in the living room; however the cause of the blaze remains under investigation at this time. Nearly 50 firefighters from Accident, Bittinger, Deep Creek and Grantsville Volunteer Fire Departments responded after a call from the victim to the Garrett County Emergency Operations Center at 2:20 a.m. First arriving firefighters located the unconscious victim on a bedroom floor near the living room of the one story, single family dwelling. She was quickly transported to Garrett Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced deceased from heavy smoke inhalation injuries received during the blaze. The fire was quickly brought under control within ten minutes and contained to the living room of the residence.
