The Short Gap Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a Heroin and Drug Addiction Forum tonight at 7pm. Fire Chief Colby Simpson says retired MD State Police Major James Pyles will be the main speaker. The forum is open to the public. Simpson says last year the Short Gap VFD responded to 44 overdoses. He says the epidemic is having a huge impact on the community and he hopes folks will come to the forum at the Short Gap Volunteer Fire Company tonight.
