Romney Police officials have released the identities of the suspect and victim involved in a shooting yesterday. According to Chief James Lambert 29 year old Stewart Rockhold of Romney remains hospitalized after being shot in the face a close range by 32 year old Charles Crowley of Shanks. Crowley allegedly used a .40 caliber handgun. The shooting happened at about 2pm Tuesday afternoon outside of the Sheetz location in downtown Romney. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
