PA Man Pleads Guilty To Murder Charges

A Pennsylvania man pleads guilty to murder charges just days before jury selection was set to begin in his trial. According to District Attorney Bill Higgins 21 year old Jonta Bishop of Hyndman entered a guilty plea to 2nd degree murder, robbery, arson and abuse of a corpse. He was then immediately sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.  The charges stem from a September 25, 2014, incident where Bishop set up a purchase of marijuana which was to be delivered by James Deneen. The transaction took place at the Forbes residence located on Fossilville Road in Buffalo Mills, PA. When Deneen arrived, Bishop, who didn’t have the money to pay for the marijuana displayed a gun and shot Deneen in the head. Bishop, with the assistance of Nickolas and Kimberlee Forbes and Domenick Gillespie, then placed Deneen’s lifeless body in the truck of the car that Deneen had driven to that location. Bishop then drove the car a short distance and set it on fire along Tiger Valley Road in Londonderry Township.
