New Vet Center Is Open in Cumberland

A new Vet Center in Cumberland is offering free services to veterans and their families. Approximately 22 veterans a day are lost to suicide related to PTSD/Anxiety based issues. Vet Centers provide treatment through readjustment counseling and outreach services in order to help combat this trend. The new Vet Center in Cumberland has been created thanks to a partnership with the YMCA located at 205 Baltimore Ave (The Old YMCA). The Vet Center in Cumberland will provide services locally to veterans and their families FREE of charge with a NO red tape guarantee, the only thing you need is a copy of your DD-214 or discharge paperwork. Hours of operation will be 9:30AM -3:00PM Tuesday – Thursday and are subject to change depending on demand and veteran/family population attendance.
