Maryland State Police are searching for the suspect involved in an armed robbery. On July 1st at about 2:15 am an unknown male wearing all black clothing and a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask entered the 7-11 convenience store on Maryland Route 40 at Keyser’s Ridge in Garrett County. The male produced a knife and asked for an undisclosed amount of US currency and cigarettes before leaving the store. The suspect is described as a white male about 40 years old with gray facial hair weighing approximately 165 pounds and 5’7 to 5’9 in height.
