A Cumberland man wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service is arrested. According to Cumberland Police on Thursday, February 23rd officers arrested 34 year old Javon Chase. Chase was located in the area of Maryland Avenue. It was confirmed that Chase had an active arrest warrant through the U.S. Marshals Service for violation of probation. Chase was transported to police headquarters for processing and later taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await extradition.
