ACPS has created a Q&A for Families regarding the many questions families have surrounding the decision to begin the 2020-2021 school year in a fully virtual learning environment. The document, which will be updated as more questions are presented, can be found on the school system’s website, www.acpsmd.org, under the Parent Resources section, and on the Crisis Management sub site under the Continuity of Learning section. It is our hope that the Q&A document for families will address as many of these questions as possible.
Reminder from Allegany County Public Schools that even though the 2020-2021 school year will begin virtually, all students registered with the Allegany County Public School System are required to be up to date on all school-required vaccinations prior to the start of the school year on September 8, 2020. Parents should contact their child’s pediatrician to verify their vaccination status and make any necessary vaccination appointments.
