Western Maryland Health System will get a 100 thousand dollar grant for telemedicine services. WMHS is one of 10 health care groups to receive funding from CareFirst for telemedicine programs. The money will be used to provide remote monitoring and virtual video consolations with health care professionals for patients with chronic health conditions.
