Winchester Police Investigate Breaking and Entering

The Winchester Police Department is investigating a breaking and entering that at Nationwide Insurance on Valley Avenue.  On March 19, 2016 at about 09:00 a.m., officers responded to the business after an employee arrived for work and discovered the door had been pried open.    It was determined that an unknown person(s) entered the business and stole an undisclosed amount of US Currency and vandalized the business by spray painting on the walls.  It is suspected that the incident occurred sometime in the early morning hours of March 19, 2016.  Officers are checking the area to determine if video surveillance is available.
