US Senator Ben Cardin Visits AES Warrior Run

AES Warrior Run Power Station in Cumberland is leading the industry with grid scale battery based energy storage. The facility also has carbon dioxide capturing technology that liquefied the CO2 which is used for beverages. US Senator Ben Cardin toured the facility this afternoon and says he is very impressed with the operations at AES Warrior Run and it is an example of the cutting edge technologies being used in Western Maryland. The coal used at AES Warrior Run comes from Frostburg and the limestone used comes from Flintstone.
