A man and woman are dead following a fire in Fountain late last night. According to Fountain Fire Department Captain Jeremy Taylor when crews arrived on the scene along Knobley Road just before midnight the single story family home was fully engulfed in flames. The fire spread to an out building, four vehicles and a garage. Inside crews found two dead adults in the bedroom. The West Virginia State Fire Marshal and medical examiner were called to the scene. The bodies of the victims were taken to Potomac Valley Hospital and will be sent to Charleston for an autopsy. Crews from around the region were on the scene for more than nine hours.
