Two Cumberland residents face charges of theft. According to Allegany County Sheriff’s Officials on Feb 26th at about 6:30pm deputies were called out to TW Services in Ellerslie for a report of theft. . While Deputies were en-route to the area County Dispatch was advised that the reported suspects in the theft were currently being followed by the victim. At that time a Deputy was able to locate the vehicle. The Deputy attempted to conducted a traffic stop however; the vehicle fled. After a brief pursuit the Deputy assisted by the Cumberland Police Department was able to stop the vehicle in the area of Columbia Street, Cumberland, MD. Upon contacting the operator 30 year old Jason Wayne Wiley of Corriganville, MD the Deputy noticed signs of impairment. The Deputy conducted field sobriety testing and found the subject to be impaired. During a search of the vehicle at least $650.00 worth of stolen items were recovered and returned to the proper owner. Both Wiley and his passenger 39 year old Sabrina Mae Davisof Cumberland were arrested and charged with the following:

Both subjects were released pending trial.
