One person is hospitalized following a crash in Garrett County. According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office on January 18th deputies were called out to a two vehicle crash on Bittinger Road. The driver of a 2013 Chevrolet was heading northbound and lost control due to the road conditions then went into the southbound lane of travel into the path of a 2003 Ford F350 resulting in a head on collision.Neither driver was able to avoid the collision resulting in the head on crash.The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Ford was treated and released at the scene. The drivers involved have been identified by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office as Tyler Wilt and Stewart Miller.
