An Oakland man is hospitalized following a crash in Garrett County. According to Maryland State Police officials last night 50 year old Michael McGreevy was traveling northbound on Garrett Highway north of Quarry Road. McGreevy lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and then crossed the center line into the southbound lane. The vehicle then went up an embankment and hit a tree. McGreevy was initially taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital then flown by Trooper 5 to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
