Jenelle Mayer is now the new Allegany County Health Officer. Mayer was appointed by Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Secretary Van Mitchell. She was formally nominated by the Allegany County Commission on Feb 25th and the appointment was made official on March 30th.
