A gathering will be held this evening sponsored by the Allegany County NAACP. The goal of the event is to honor and grieve for the victims of violence over the past several days. Community leaders, elected officials, law enforcement and faith groups will be a part of the event at 6pm tonight at the steps of the Allegany County Courthouse. NAACP official hope the event will demonstrate their commitment to work together to curb violence in our community.
