MSP Investigating Attempted Burglary

The Maryland State Police in McHenry are investigating an attempted burglary and malicious destruction of property that occurred on 3/17/2020 at approximately 11:40pm at the BFS (Corner Store) located at 168 Main Street Grantsville MD 21536. Troopers responded to the Corner Store in Grantsville for a commercial burglar alarm.Upon arrival troopers noticed the glass on the main entry door was broken as well as the glass to a window on the left side of the entry door.  It was determined that the suspects were not able to gain entry to the inside of the store.  Contact with a store representative was made and video surveillance footage of the stores exterior was reviewed.  The video footage showed three suspects attempting to gain entry to the store and causing damage to the door and window.  Still pictures of the suspects were recovered from the surveillance footage.

Suspect #1 appears to be a white male wearing a Stetson style straw hat, bandana over his face, white and bluish long sleeved flannel shirt, dark pants, and carrying what looks like a crowbar. Suspect #2 appears to be a male wearing dark pants, dark hood, possibly a mask over his face. Suspect #3 is a white male wearing dark pants, dark t-shirt with an unknown emblem on the front, dark mask, light colored gloves, and carrying a bag.
