McKinley Working to Get Hydroelectric Project Moving Forward

Congressman David McKinley is working to make sure the Jennings Randolph hydroelectric project becomes a reality. McKinley says the project began back in 2005 and for 11 years the project has been going through the permitting process. In 2012 a permit for the project was issued but due to delays the project was not started within the two year required timeframe. McKinley says the project could not move forward without federal approval. He says this 40 to 50 million project would create construction jobs and provide affordable and reliable electricity.
