Lonaconing Man Dead After Crashing Into Home

A Lonaconing man is dead after his car crashed into a home Friday night. According to Maryland State Police just before 10pm Troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack responded to 17000 block Lower Georges Creek Road, Lonaconing, Allegany County, MD, regarding a single vehicle collision into a residence. Law enforcement and EMS arrived on scene and discovered the sole occupant/driver of the vehicle deceased as a result of the collision. Investigation revealed the vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Ram truck was travelling north on Lower Georges Creek Road when the driver lost control for unknown reasons. The vehicle crossed over the center lane line entering the south lane. The vehicle struck a parked vehicle off of the south bound side of the roadway. It then continued into a residence located on Lower Georges Creek Road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 28 year old Brian Andrew Lewis.
