An investigation is underway following a stabbing at NBCI. According to MDPSCS officials a 39-year-old inmate serving a life sentence with all but 35 years suspended for 1st degree murder was assaulted by two fellow inmates Tuesday morning at about 8:15 a.m. at NBCI and suffered non-life threatening wounds. He sustained several puncture wounds to the torso and head and the suspects were apprehended and the homemade weapon recovered.
