After serving the Cumberland community for more than 136 years Cotton Geatz’s Restaurant is closed. Geatz’s was known as Maryland’s oldest family owned restaurant which spanned five generations. The restaurant officially closed on Friday. According to a statement released by owners JP and Brenda Geatz they are thankful for the support they have received from the community .
