A Garrett County man is hospitalized after being shot in the foot. According to the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack on 8/15/2020 Troopers responded to South Main St, Accident, Maryland for a reported male subject with a gunshot wound to the foot. The investigation revealed 43 year old John Smith from Accident MD and 29 year old Shawn Kisner also from Accident MD were in the bedroom area of the residence when Smith discharged one round from a rifle striking Kisner in the right foot. Kisner was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Investigation is continuing by the Maryland State Police McHenry Barracks and charges are pending.
