Maryland State Fire Marshals are investigating a fire in Garrett County. The fire broke out at about 9pm at Dan Herring Dermatologist on Deep Creek Drive in McHenry Wednesday night. The fire was noticed by a passerby and started in the basement. 42 firefighters were on the scene and it took about three hours to control the blaze. The business was a total loss. The fire caused more than 750 thousand dollars in damage.
