A fire in McHenry is ruled accidental. According to Maryland State Fire Marshals the blaze broke out at about 1:54 pm on November 10th in a one story manufactured home on Hoyes Road. The fire was caused by an electrical malfunction in an exterior wall of a bedroom. 15 firefighters had the fire under control in about 15 minutes. The fire caused about 10 thousand dollars in damage.
The home is considered a complete loss. The family of four are currently being assisted by Red Cross.
