The driver involved in a crash Friday night faces charges and the child with him was returned to family members unharmed according to Cumberland Police. According to police officials Friday at approximately 4:45 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to I-68 eastbound near the Willowbrook Road exit for a motor vehicle crash. Once officers arrived on scene it was found the driver of the vehicle, 44 year old Brian Russell Price of Cumberland Maryland, and a young child had fled the scene into the surrounding woods. A search of the area was conducted with help from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police Trooper 5.
