The Maryland Park Service is pleased to announce that the swimming pool at Dan’s Mountain State Park is now open for the season.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except for Tuesdays, when the pool is closed. (Hours are subject to change based on weather and other factors, so visitors are encouraged to call ahead to confirm status.) Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times when the pool is open.
The Dan’s Mountain Pool is also available by reservation for private pool parties with certified lifeguards on duty. For more information or to make a reservation, please call the Ranger Station at 301-895-5453.
