Cumberland Man Wanted in Washington County Arrested in Cumberland on Theft Charges

A Cumberland man wanted on assault charges in Washington County is arrested on charges of theft in Cumberland. According to Cumberland Police on April 13th, 2020 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Greene Street business for a reported theft complaint. Officers were provided with a description of the suspect after he fled the business. Officers were able to locate 38 year old Jason Ross Poling matching the description in the area. Poling was observed to have the items that were stolen from the business and it was learned that he was wanted through Washington County. Poling was placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond.
