Cumberland Man Charged with Fleeing Scene of Crash

A Cumberland man faces charges after fleeing the scene of a crash. According to Cumberland Police on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the Canal Parkway for a reported single vehicle accident.  When officers arrived on scene, a gold-in-color Chevrolet Cavalier was located over an embankment with significant damage.  The vehicle was unattended. Officers later learned the vehicle was being driven by Ian Lee James Glenn from Cumberland.  As a result of the investigation, Glenn was charged with numerous serious and non-serious traffic violations including ; failure to control speed to avoid a collision, failure of driver to stop after unattended property damage accident, operating unregistered motor vehicle, displaying registration plates issued for another vehicle,  knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle, and driving under the influence.  Glenn was released after being cited pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
