The Cumberland Police Department has recently received many complaints about vehicles parking and operating on the downtown pedestrian mall. Due to these complaints and increased foot traffic on the mall because of the warm weather, CPD will be stepping up the patrols in the area. CPD will conduct checks and enforcement action will be taken if they observe vehicles on the mall. Please be mindful that the mall is for foot traffic only and the safety of the pedestrians is paramount.
