Earlier this week the Allegany County Board of Education voted to start the 2020-2021 school year virtually Sept 8th. Board President Tammy Fraley says school officials are still working on the details of addressing all the concerns for each family and all the teachers and staff. She says they are working at the local, state and federal level to provide broadband across the county. All students will be given access to devices including Chrombooks. Fraley says they understand the needs of everyone in the community and they are working to provide the resources needed.
