Two Oakland residents are dead following a UTV crash. According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office at about 2:10am on March 22nd deputies were called out to Bethlehem Rd for a motor vehicle crash with injuries involving a Polaris RZR side by side. When they arrived they began CPR and other life saving procedures on two people identified as 22 year old Zachary Moore of Oakland and 19 year old Macy Dawson also of Oakland. Both were pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries they sustained in the crash. The preliminary investigation revealed they were traveling eastbound and went off the roadway and hit a tree.
