WV DOH Reminds Motorists of Upcoming Closures and Delays

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of upcoming daytime closures on Ford Hill Road (CR 7) in Hampshire County beginning Monday, August 2, 2021 through Wednesday, August 4, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The closure will extend from Northwestern Turnpike (US 50) to McKee Hollow Rd. (CR 7/3) for road work. Thru traffic will be directed to McKee Hollow Rd. and access will be maintained to local homes and businesses on Ford Hill Rd., but long delays may be experienced. Exact schedule is weather dependent.

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of possible delays with one lane traffic under the direction of flaggers for culvert work on the north end of Reeve’s Road (CR 9/3) near Knobley Rd. (CR 9). This work is planned for Monday and Tuesday, August 2 – 3.

In addition, a full closure of Reeve’s Rd. is planned for Wednesday, August 4 between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm on the south end, approximately one-half mile from the intersection with Fort Ashby Rd. (WV 46). The closure is necessary for replacement of a large culvert. Motorist should plan accordingly to allow extra time around the work area. The exact schedule is weather dependent.
