The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of upcoming delays on US 220 and WV 28 in Grant County beginning Monday, August 3, 2020. Work will begin 400 feet South of Mt. View Street on WV 28 and will end approximately 300 feet North of Johnson Run Road (CR 220/2) on US 220. Delays can be expected from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Flaggers and a pilot truck will be used during all working hours of this project to control the flow of traffic through the work zone and to ensure the safety of the work personnel. The contractor anticipates the work will be completed on August 7, 2020, weather permitting. These delays are necessary for a resurfacing project involving milling and paving. Motorists are advised to travel with caution through the work zone.
