A Virginia man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Hampshire County. According to West Virginia State Police on Wednesday September 16, 2020, at about 10:15am emergency crews were called out to a single vehicle crash involving a single axle flat bed truck. The truck was hauling concrete poured wall forms traveling North on WV Route 29 when the driver traveled off the eastern roadway edge, overcorrected his vehicle, causing the vehicle to go into a yaw skid off the western roadway edge striking an embankment and overturning onto its top. Corporal M. M. Massie identified the driver as 42 year old Gonzalo Reyes of Winchester, VA. He was pronounced deceased on scene. Responding units include; Slanesville Fire, Augusta Fire and EMS, Capon Bridge Fire, Hampshire County EMS and Hampshire Count Medic.
