Monongalia County authorities have identified the two women killed Friday in a wrong way crash at a busy Morgantown intersection. Information released Monday by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department said the driver of the wrong way vehicle, Janis Yeager, 66, of Morgantown, died at the scene while passenger Charlene Earle, 68, of Frostburg, Maryland, died later at Ruby Memorial Hospital. The collision occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route 705 and Willowdale Road not far from Mylan Puskar Stadium. Police said the victims were traveling east in the westbound lanes of Route 705 at about 1:44 p.m. when their vehicle struck an oncoming vehicle. The driver in an approaching vehicle and a third driver were taken to the hospital for treatment.
