According to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office on 7/26/21 Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a Baltimore Pike Cumberland, MD residence for a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies observed through the main entrance door CDS and CDS activity. As a result, deputies knocked and were greeted by Barbara Ann Blowe, 25 yrs old. Blowe exited the residence and immediately slammed the door shut and held onto the door obstructing and hindering Police entering the residence. At that time Blowe was placed under arrest. Deputies entered the apartment and Christopher Scott Athey Age 37, was attempting to conceal CDS.
As a result, Athey was placed under arrest and the residence was secured and a search and seizure warrant was applied for and issued. The search warrant resulted in the recovery of a large amount of Heroin/Fentanyl, and Cocaine, as well as a quantity of Marijuana, and Methamphetamines and cash. Also located was a firearm that was used during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
The following suspects were charged as follows.

Conspiracy
3 cts. Possess with intent to distribute Heroin, Fentanyl and cocaine
Possession of Methamphetamines

Possession of Fentanyl
Possession of cocaine
Possession of Alprazolam
Possession of Clonazepam
Suspect #2 Christopher Scott Athey 37 yrs old
Baltimore Pike Cumberland, Md
Did during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime possess/wear a firearm
Conspiracy
3 cts. Possess with intent to distribute Heroin, Fentanyl and cocaine
Possession of Methamphetamines
Possession of Heroin

Both Athey and Blowe were held without bond pending their next court appearance.
