Maryland State Police are searching for the suspects in an armed robbery last night. January 14th at 10:41pm Troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack responded to the D & D Pit N Go gas station located on McMullen Hwy Sw, for an armed robbery. The store clerk at the station advised two male subjects entered the store and displayed a handgun. The suspects demanded cigarettes and cash. The two male suspects were wearing dark color clothing and had their faces concealed with bandanna’s. Both suspects fled the store on foot. No one at the store was injured. A search of the immediate area for the suspects was negative. MSP McHenry Barrack K-9 responded to the scene. Additional units who assisted in the search were Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland City Police Department.
