Keyser Police Chief Tom Golden is stepping down. Chief Golden says he submitted his resignation in November and it will be effective Dec 31st. During the Keyser City Council meeting last night Sergeant Paul Sabin of the Keyser Police will take over as the new Keyser Police Chief. Golden said he recently became a grandfather and as one of seven siblings and working in law enforcement for decades he has missed a lot of birthdays and holidays so he is looking forward to spending some time with his family. Golden says his time working for the KPD has been incredible and he is grateful for everyone he has been able to work alongside.
