AAA estimates the annual national average price of gas in 2016 is likely to end up between $2.25 and $2.45 per gallon, which would be cheaper or at least comparable to the 2015 average of $2.40 per gallon. As Maryland’s average often mirrors the national price, state residents can expect to pay prices within this range as well.” Right now the average price of regular grade gasoline nationally is $1.99, in Maryland it is $1.98, in West Virginia it is $1.95 and in Pennsylvania it is $2.156
