An accidental malfunction in wiring to an outside security camera is the cause of a blaze in Mt. Savage. According to the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office the fire broke out at about 7:30pm April 9th in the rear of a home on Lower Sunnyside Road NW in Mt. Savage. A passerby noticed the blaze. 25 firefighters were called to the scene and had the fire under control in about five minutes. The fire caused about $3,000 in damage.
