The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian. September 23, 2019, at approximately 7:50 PM deputies responded to Stotler Road near Halfway Blvd. for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The struck pedestrian was transported to Meritus Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The investigation into this incident is on-going.
