Maryland State Police are investigating a double fatal crash in Little Orleans. At approximately 1am, the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack received a call from 911 in reference to a motor vehicle collision on Old National Pike @ Sideling Hill Creek, Allegany County, Maryland. Initial investigation revealed that a Chevrolet car operated by a white female, left the road way, struck a pole, and a tree. During the collision the two rear passengers were ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. A third passenger was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Next of kin was notified, and the investigation is ongoing at this time. Alcohol is considered a factor and charges are pending.
