The Hampshire County Health Department has confirmed two new deaths due to complications of COVID-19. The deceased are a 97year-old man and a 78 year-old woman both from Romney, WV. This will be the thirty-sixth and thirty- seventh COVID-19 related death for Hampshire County. These deaths were just reported to the state and occurred earlier in the month.
The Hampshire County Health Department extends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends for their loss. We ask that everyone please respect this life lost by taking care of one another and wearing your masks, limiting your gatherings, and social distancing.
