Cumberland Officials To Offer New Online Service

According to Cumberland City officials Cumberland’s Community Development department will soon be launching a new program, called Citizenserve, to better serve the residents of Cumberland. This online portal offers citizens a single source for everything relating to permits, rental licensing and code enforcement.
Citizenserve’s self-service portal provides residents with easy access to take care of many matters that previously required a visit to City Hall. With the introduction of the portal, registered users can log in to initiate and track the status of these and many other activities:
-Apply for new commercial or residential permit applications
-License a rental property
-Submit an occupancy permit application
-Reserve a park pavilion at Constitution Park
-Initiate a Certificate of Appropriateness
-Submit a code complaint
-Pay any associated fees online
The City will be generating all Rental License renewals for FY21 using Citizenserve, so property owners currently in the Rental Program can expect to see a renewal notice in the mail in early June.
