Cumberland Man Faces Charges After Hit and Run Crash

A Cumberland man faces a variety of charges after a hit and run crash. According to Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack Officials on 7/8/2020 at approximately 9:04 pm, troopers were notified of a hit and run property damage accident in the area of the 11000 block of Valley Road in Cumberland, Allegany County, MD. With the assistance of local citizens, the at fault driver, Bradford Albright 44 years old of Cumberland, MD and the vehicle a 1995 Dodge Dakota pickup truck were located in the immediate area. Preliminary investigation revealed Albright lost control of the vehicle striking numerous mailboxes and an electric pole on Valley Road. Albright’s driving privilege was determined to be suspended. He was charged accordingly for leaving the scene of an accident and numerous other motor vehicle law violations. Potomac Edison work crew responded to the scene for repairs to the electric pole.
