The following is a list of closings, cancellations, delays and remote learning schedule changes for Feb 1st. The list will be updated as more information is received:
Monday, February 1, 2021, Allegany County Public Schools students will participate in virtual learning via Schoology during the morning hours, just as they do on a typical day. In the event that a student is unable to participate in synchronous learning via Schoology as a result of connectivity issues related to inclement weather, they will have the opportunity to watch the recorded video when connection issues are resolved for up to 7 days. No student will incur an unexcused absence as long as they log in to watch the recorded lessons. If a student experiences Internet issues, please contact their school so that principals can inform classroom teachers. Additionally, ACPS will not distribute meals tomorrow, Monday, February 1, 2021.
Bedford Area School District will have a remote learning day on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Beginnings Montessori will be CLOSED, Monday, February 1, due to the snow.
All schools in Berkeley County will be remote learning on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021
Bishop Walsh School will be closed on Monday, February 1st due to inclement weather. This will NOT be an instructional day. The Catholic Schools Week activities and middle school standardized testing scheduled for Monday will be rescheduled for later in the week.
Calvary Christian Academy and Daycare will be closed Monday, February 1st.
All schools in Grant County will be remote learning on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021.
All schools in Hampshire County will be closed on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021.
All schools in Hardy County will be remote learning on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021.
All schools in Mineral County will now be remote learning on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021.
All schools in Morgan County will be remote learning on Mon. Feb. 1, 2021, Code WS.
All Allegany College of Maryland campuses and locations will be closed Monday, February 1st. In-person and virtual classes are canceled.
Frostburg State University is now CLOSED Monday, Feb. 1. All classes and activities are cancelled
Garrett College will be closed Monday, February 1, 2021 due to inclement weather. All in-person classes and activities are canceled. Virtual classes will meet as scheduled unless otherwise stated by faculty/instructor. Essential employees to report to work as scheduled.
All in-person classes at a Potomac State College of WVU will move online Monday, Feb. 1.
Kids Korner Childcare Center will be CLOSED
Monday, February 1, Maryland State offices and facilities will be closed from 12:01am to 6:00pm.Emergency Essential Employees should report as scheduled. Non-emergency essential employees, who are required to report to the office or a worksite to work, should remain home. Employees who are authorized and assigned to telework from home should work at home as scheduled unless leave is granted.
Allegany County Circuit Court will be closed
Allegany County District Court at 123 S. Liberty Street will be closed Monday, February 1st due to inclement weather.
Due to inclement weather, there will be no COVID testing at the Allegany County Fairgrounds on Monday, February 1.
Due to the weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday, the Free Community COVID-19 testing in Mineral County is canceled for this week.

The Offices of the Garrett County Health Department are closed on Monday, February 1st, due to inclement weather. This includes all clinics.
The Garrett County Health Department COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic scheduled for Monday, February 1st at the MEDCO Building has been canceled due to inclement weather. Appointments will be rescheduled for Wednesday or Friday, February 3rd or 5th. Please check your email for a reschedule message.
