Closings and Delays for Thursday 12/15
* All schools in Mineral County will be closed on Thu. Dec. 15, 2022.
* Due to the impending forecast and Ice Storm Warning going into effect, Garrett County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, December 15, 2022. This will be a traditional “snow day” for students and teachers. Code Blue for employees.
* All Allegany County Public Schools after school and evening activities are CANCELED today, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, due to predicted inclement weather.
* All Allegany County Public School buildings will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, December 15, 2022. Asynchronous learning will take place for students, and assignments will be given no later than 9:30 a.m. Teacher office hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1-2 p.m. As always, students without access to connectivity will be given up to two days to submit assignments.
Additionally, all staff may work remotely tomorrow, Thursday, December 15, 2022, with the exception of essential personnel.

* All schools in Morgan County will be non-traditional learning on Thu. Dec. 15, 2022, Code A. Morgan County Schools will close for in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, December 15. This will be Non-Traditional Instructional Day #1. Students should follow instructions as given by their teachers. Employees will follow reporting code A.
* All schools in Hardy County will be non-traditional learning on Thu. Dec. 15, 2022.
* Bishop Walsh School Will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, December 15th.
* ADR is going to be closed tomorrow due to the weather
* HRDC All head start classes are opening tomorrow at 10am for Allegany county. No transportation will be running and all AM classes are cancelled.
* Allegany College of Maryland will be closed Thursday in all locations due to weather.
* Ready Ride Service will begin at 10am in anticipation of inclement weather Thursday 12/15 in Keyser, Moorefield, Romney, and Petersburg.
* Pilgrims Fresh Plant Moorefied will cancel Nightshift tonight (Wednesday night) and Dayshift (Thursday) will cancel tomorrow. They will resume normal operation tomorrow (Thursday) night.
* American Woodmark, due to weather 12/15 1st shift will report on a two hour delay, and 2nd shift will have no adjustments.
* FSU will remain closed today (12/15) and reopen tomorrow (12/16).
* In anticipation of the ice storm, WEPCO FCU will have a delayed opening today and will opening at 11:00 AM. Our electronic services will still be available.
* Garrett College will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, December 15, 2022, due to impending inclement weather. All classes and activities are cancelled.

* Due to the impending weather, the Allegany County Circuit Court will be closed 12/15
* Hampshire County Government offices will be opening on a two hour delay on Thursday December 15th 2022
* Due to the ice storm that will blanket the area, all Garrett County facilities and buildings, except for essential services, will be closed on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
County Employees will be on Administrative Leave.
In addition, the Garrett County Courthouse and Circuit Court will be closed.
*HiSET testing at the Mineral County Technical Center on Thursday, December 15 is cancelled due to impending weather.
*Potomac State College will be closed Dec. 15 until 10 a.m. due to winter weather. Faculty, staff and students should refer to the College’s website and campus messaging for further details.

*The Offices of the Garrett County Health Department will be closed on Thursday, December 15th, due to inclement weather. This includes all clinics. Offices will open at 8 am on Friday, December 16th unless otherwise announced.

* On Thursday, December 15, 2022, the State has declared liberal leave beginning at 6am through the end of day shift in Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, and Washington Counties.
* HRDC Senior Centers will be closed and no home delivered meals today
